Professionnalisable is a digital platform published and operated by Exceptions SAS.
In short
Professionnalisable uses TWO essential cookies, and audience measurement cookies you are free to refuse.
The first two are necessary to the operation of the service: without them, you could neither stay signed in nor save a change securely. They are set in every case.
AUDIENCE MEASUREMENT COOKIES ARE ONLY SET WITH YOUR AGREEMENT. A banner asks you on arrival. Until you have answered, or if you refuse, none of them is set — neither ours nor Google's.
WE USE NO ADVERTISING COOKIE, no social network pixel, and we share this data with no advertiser. We carry out no targeted advertising on this basis, and Google's advertising signals are switched off.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file placed by a website in your browser, and sent back to that website on your later visits. It allows your browser — not you as a person — to be recognised from one page to the next.
A “first-party” cookie is set by the website you are visiting. A “third-party” cookie is set by another domain, often for advertising purposes. The three cookies described below are all first-party.
Strictly necessary cookies
“professionnalisable-session” — session cookie.
It keeps you signed in from one page to the next and stores certain display choices, such as your language. It expires after 120 minutes of inactivity, and is not accessible to page scripts.
“XSRF-TOKEN” — protection against forged requests.
It carries a token allowing us to verify that an action sent from a form really comes from you, and not from another site attempting to trigger it without your knowledge. It lasts for your session.
These two cookies cannot be disabled separately: refusing them means not being able to use the service.
Audience measurement — subject to your agreement
These cookies are set ONLY IF YOU ACCEPT THEM. They serve to understand how the site is used, never to identify you.
OUR OWN MEASUREMENT — “pb_vid”
It contains a random identifier, unrelated to your identity, and lasts 395 days. It is not accessible to page scripts. It lets us know how many people visit the site, which pages interest them, from which countries and on which devices, and to tell a new visit from a return.
Your IP address is not kept: only a one-way encrypted fingerprint of it is retained.
GOOGLE ANALYTICS — “_ga” and “_ga_…”
We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-5KKPLW75DS) to understand where our visitors come from and which journeys they follow. These two cookies carry a random browser identifier and last up to two years.
What we send Google: the address of the page viewed, stripped of any sensitive parameter, the page type, the language, and journey steps — viewing a trade, creating a site, publishing, paying. WE SEND IT NEITHER YOUR NAME, NOR YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS, NOR YOUR NUMBER, NOR ANY IDENTIFIER OF YOUR ACCOUNT, nor the contents of your forms.
Google Analytics advertising features are switched off: no advertising signals, no ad personalisation.
WHAT WE DO NOT DO WITH THEM: we use these measurements neither to send you advertising nor to build a commercial profile. The data is neither sold nor passed to any advertiser.
PROFESSIONAL CARD — COUNTING WITHOUT COOKIES. Views of a professional card and the actions taken on it — call, WhatsApp, e-mail, website visit, contact saved, share — are counted in aggregate, WITHOUT any cookie, identifier or IP address: this counter cannot designate anyone, and is therefore not subject to your agreement. Only the number of unique visitors of a card relies on “pb_vid”, with your agreement, and only on professionnalisable.com.
The banner and your choice
On arrival, a banner asks whether you accept audience measurement. Two buttons, of equal weight: accept, or refuse. There is no cross that closes without answering — until you have chosen, the answer is NO and no measurement cookie is set.
Your choice is kept in a first-party cookie, “pb_consent”, for 182 days. It contains one word only: accepted, or refused. It is tied to no account and stored on none of our servers.
TO CHANGE YOUR MIND, at any time: the bottom of this page shows what you answered and lets you erase that answer. The banner will then ask you again.
Technically, until you accept, Google Analytics is loaded in a restricted mode that forbids it from writing any cookie — this is Google's “consent mode”. If you accept, measurement starts immediately; if you refuse, it does not start.
On our clients' professional domains
When a website is served under its owner's professional domain, Professionnalisable SETS NO COOKIE THERE and carries out no traffic measurement — with the sole exception of the aggregate, cookie-free counting of the professional card described above, which designates no one.
The domain belongs to the professional. It is for them to install their own measurement or marketing tools there if they wish, under their own responsibility and informing their visitors themselves as the law requires of them.
This policy therefore covers professionnalisable.com only.
Third-party cookies
One single third-party service sets cookies on professionnalisable.com: GOOGLE ANALYTICS, described above, and only if you have accepted it. Its provider is Google Ireland Limited.
This entails a transfer of your browsing data outside République Démocratique du Congo, to Google's infrastructure. That transfer only takes place if you have accepted audience measurement.
Apart from it, Professionnalisable embeds NO other third-party service that sets cookies: no ad network, no tracking share button, no font loaded from an outside server.
One exception worth knowing: if, from a professional website, you click a link leading to an outside service — WhatsApp in particular — you leave our domain and enter that service's scope, with its own cookies and its own terms.
Your choices
THE BANNER IS THE MAIN MEANS: accept or refuse audience measurement in one click, and come back to that choice whenever you like from the bottom of this page.
Refusing audience measurement has NO consequence on your use of the service: you browse and work in exactly the same way, every function remains available. Your visits simply stop being counted — by us as by Google. Only the aggregate, cookie-free counting of professional cards remains, which concerns no person.
If you refuse after having accepted, our measurement cookie is erased and Google stops writing its own.
You can also, at any time, view, refuse or delete cookies from your browser settings. Those settings allow you in particular to block cookies from a given site, or to clear them on closing.
Refusing the two necessary cookies, on the other hand, prevents signing in and saving your changes: they are not subject to the choice, because the service does not work without them.
Changes to this policy
This page is versioned and dated. The version in force is kept on record and can be provided to you on request.
Any cookie added or changed will give rise to a new version.
